My maternal great-grandmother was Judith Maduro. Her son, Stanley Brandon (my grandfather), married Viva Henriques from Jamaica (my grandmother). My mother, Lucy Brandon, was born in Ecuador. Her family moved to Californiain ~1940. See Family Tree (my mother is in the center.) To see how I directly descend from S.L. Maduro and Judith Sasso in Curacao, plus photos from our family, click here. |

I moved from California to Israel in 1979. My sons and I live in a small agricultural community (called a moshav) in the Negev desert in the south of Israel. It is beautiful here; our moshav is surrounded by vineyards and there is an archaeological site dating from biblical times near our home. To see a "desert" road near our home, click here. For another view of the Israeli desert near our home, click here (not what you were expecting, right?) We are members in a new community called Haruv. |

After working as a systems expert for Intel for 9 years, in Aug 2005 I moved in a new career direction and now work full time in my art studio where I create stained glass and fused glass windows and other objects. My website is http://www.cdesigns-isr.com/ . I sell from my studio, in art fairs (in Israel) and to private clients including synagogues. I also sell over the internet and you can find my store on eBAY by searching with the words stained glass israel. |

I have four sons: Ephraim is 20. He is now serving in the Israeli army (compulsory service) as a medic in a mobile hospital in Hebron. Asaph is 18; he is serving in the Engineering Corps of the IDF (Israeli Defense Force); Nadav is 16. He is in high school and plays electric guitar. Daniel is 13, and loves animals and reading science fiction. |

We all love action movies and animals - and we have a small zoo at home with birds, a rabbit, a chicken, dogs and cats. |
